Turnstile Installation at Worksop Town F.C.

We were approached by Worksop Town Football Club with an enquiry regarding the installation of new full-height turnstiles at their ground.  Following an initial client meeting we put together a detailed proposal which was then accepted by the client. 

Once given the go ahead we got to work on the project beginning by liaising with the club over the specification for the plinth on which to install the turnstiles.  With this underway we initiated the manufacture of a set of 3 full-height turnstiles along with a DDA compliant gate, all painted to specific RAL colours to match the club’s corporate image.

Once delivered to site we assembled the turnstiles, and securely bolted them in place before commencing with the configurations specified by the customer.

Although the units were set up for entry only with the exit direction locked, we then connected the turnstiles to the club fire alarm system to allow free rotation in the event of an emergency.  We also installed multi-technology readers to the three turnstile entrances. These utilise QR Code, RFID, Proximity, Barcode, and Bluetooth capabilities to meet customer requirements. These readers were then connected to Nortech controllers and fully integrated into the club membership management software via a single network (LAN) access point.

All installation, commissioning and integration completed in 2 days and on schedule for the first home match of the 2024/25 season!
